Safety Patrol

When I was asked to make 432 mini cookies for McKinney Christian Academy, I was in complete shock! Shock that someone actually thought my cookies were good enough, shock that I was excited to tackle this, and shock that I pulled it off in 12 hours! Here they are, 72 bags filled with 2 safety cones, 2 crosses, and 2 badges topped off with a ribbon and favor tag. Thank you Amy and thank you McKinney Christian Academy for your faith in me!!

Mad Hatter

I was asked to make cookies for a Mad Hatter party which was a bit of a challenge because I have no recollection of ever seeing Alice in Wonderland! But my husband has many times and was my consultant on this project :) Thanks Crystal for letting me do such a fun order!

Flower Power

Teacher gift time!! Flowers for MDO and my first attempt at an all cookie flower pot!!
I learned SO much from this cookie below. I know now that my flower needs to be about half of the size so that I can pipe the leaves and stem better. And I think I will make the top cookie of the flower pot larger than the ones below it to give the effect of the flower pot. So no one received this cookie, it was merely a practice attempt that I am sharing with you!!
Flower pot idea came from Sugarbelle, she is awesome!

Mini cookie fun!

I had the pleasure of making lots of mini cookies for a friend of a friend for teacher appreciation week! The preschool class is frog themed so we had a jar and a bag of mini frogs in 2 sizes:

For the administrative staff, I made 6 bags filled with hearts and crosses in adorable Spring colors! Some of them were also covered in sprinkles just to add a little more fun in each bag. A big thanks to Rayne for your order, it was such a pleasure to meet you and I look forward to working with you in the future!

A personal touch

Along with some of my teacher sets, I included a cookie to be personalized with edible markers by the child. These two masterpieces happen to be my 5 year old's creations for his two teachers. They are his name, a heart, and a picture of himself. This was his first time with these markers so, a little practice might be in order next time. Overall, I think they are so sweet, because they are truly from the child!

Teacher Appreciation Week

I have had a super busy week with Teacher Appreciation week in full swing! I made lots of apples, pencils (which I will change the tip to a peach color next time!), ribbons, and chalkboards! This is the only set I remembered to photograph, although I did not even do that well :) Thanks to Casey and Jamyn for your orders this week!

Cookies for a cause

I made 2 cookie platters to donate for the Relay for Life silent auction this weekend! They were so fun to make..... (even though I almost lost them both because they blew off the table with our 30mph winds! Thankfully, they are sturdy cookies, and I was able to fix them right back up!!!) I hope I was able to do my small part to help fight this disease. And a special shout out to my team, The Wylie Moms for raising over $14,000 to fight cancer and for our entire relay for raising over $105,000!!!! Go us!!!!
