Angry bird cookies!!

My boys are obsessed with Angry Birds!!! I had lots of leftover icing from the Halloween cookies so I thought I would give it a try. Ca-Caw!!!! I want to work on all the little piggies next time and maybe the green boomerang bird!!!

During my "cookie break" I have been able to spend some time working on my piping skills. It is alot easier for me to create cookies when there is no expectation or deadline. I made these Halloween themed cookies for my neighborhood block party. Since we are new to the neighborhood, I wanted to make an impression on them :) They called me Bree Vandecamp, lol!!!!

Candy Corn Baseball

Halloween themed cookies (ghost, candy corn, and a orange with Halloween sprinkles)!! These are all packaged up and ready to go in treat bags for my son's tball team! Go Royals!!

Breast cancer awareness

I donated a 3 dozen cookie order on behalf of our local Relay for Life event. This was celebrating breast cancer awareness during the month of October.

Cookie Break

OK, so I should confess. I have become very overwhelmed with all the cookie orders I have been receiving. So much so that I have decided to not take on any new cookie orders. I will be finishing up all pre-existing orders that I have received but will not be seeking any new business. I have decided to take some time off and enjoy making cookies for my friends and family. Maybe as my young kids get older, this will get easier, but right now, I just need a NAP!!!! I will continue to post on this blog though and hope you will still continue to read it!! Thanks :)
